No7 Free Gift

I think (don't quote me) that this offer has just started today, along with the launch of their new mascara (i will talk about in a different post)
I'm not the biggest No7 fan, some products i like some i don't. It wouldn't be my go to brand. That being said, they usually do really nice GWP.
This is their current one,

You need to spend £25 to qualify for the gift, which with No7 isn't to hard, especially if you use their skin care, a few of the face creams etc are around the £20 mark, or you could just stock up on some make up bits.
In my opinion, this is one of the best GWP i think they've done, I love the bag it comes in, and they did a very similar one (i cant remember when) but it was black this is gorgeous, minty green colour. They're the perfect size for taking on holiday or to use as a handbag essentials kit.
This is whats included;

- Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum 5ml
- Exceptional Definition Mascara 7ml (full size)
OR
- Exquisite Curl Mascara 7ml (full size)
- Blissful Body Wash
- Liplicious Sweet Peaches
- Triple Protect Tinted Moisturiser

Great gift huh? a full size mascara! Which on its on is £13!

The brush on this is one of those curved ones, I've not actually tried it out as its not actually my gift set (its my mums, but i stole it to blog) Like i said I'm not the biggest No7 fan, but my favourite mascara for a long time was the one that came in the orange tube, Extreme Length (i think?!) BUT, i hated the full size one! It featured in the majority of the GWP's but as a mini, and i adored it. I got given the full size for Christmas one year, and completely fell out of love with it. But yes, i cant comment on this mascara as it isn't mine, though i might have a cheeky try and update you.

One thing i do love No7 for is their body wash, its probably the one thing i would purchase over and over. The full size is around £9 so i only ever buy it when they are doing the £5 voucher, and if i get one its usually the body wash i buy, unless they have some seasonal things out. Its so creamy and lathery and smells divine, it does feels and smells luxurious, you get 25ml, very handy travel size, and i bet you 10squids, my mum will pack in her case to take away next week, the body wash is one of her favourites to.
The tinted moisturiser used to be something i used before i really got into foundation, i used it when i was like 14/15, though now i think they've changed the formula so it maybe slightly different from when i used to use it, again if its something you've never used 10ml is the perfect size to get a good test of the product and to know if you'll want to purchase it or not.
The Protect & Perfect Intense serum, I've never used, but its gotten some rave reviews and i now a lot of people swear by it, I'd say its a very reasonable price, when you compare to some skincare, the full size at 30ml is £23. You get a 5ml sample in the gift, so i guess, if its like any other serum, you'll only need a tiny bit, it'll last a good amount of time.
And the last item, i think is the most summery item in there, The lip gloss/balm, its called sweet peaches and is a gorgeous peachy/corally colour. It smells amazing, its really sweet, It reminds of those sweets you used to get, that were like lipsticks, (or that's what i used to pretend they were) they were in like a tube the same as a lipstick, but yeah the lip gloss smells exactly how i remember them.!

I'm not a gloss person, and this is slightly sticky, though i think the smell alone would sell it to me, it just reminds of being little! Its such a summery colour as well!
The gift will be available until stocks last, So I'd head down to your nearest boots and snap one up. They really are cute. Even if you wouldn't use it yourself, they make great presents!

What No7 products would you purchase to get your free gift?

Lots of Love

Whats In My Handbag?

No, I'm not actually going to show you what i lug around in my handbag... well i might, but not right now.
whatsinmyhandbag is something I've come across within the last week or so. i noticed it cropping up all over facebook, so thought I'd check it out, and it really is great!
You basically upload a photo of what beauty items you carry around with you (whats in your handbag ) you can then tag the products and say why you love them, i believe other people can look at them, and you can create your own beauty cabinet of things you'd love to try, another perk of the site (which is why i think people have been signing up) is that you can apply for free samples, each week they have a new sample. You fill in a few details, they will then email if you have been successful and post out your sample.
The week i joined they were offering a Balance Me, Moisture Rich Face Cream. I'm yet to find a moisturiser i really love, so am constantly trying samples. So i signed up for this one, a few days later a received an email telling me i was one of the luck people that got picked, I don't know how many samples are available, so I'm not sure how lucky i actually was, but it still feels like you've won something. I was very excited.
The next week was a Paul & Joe foundation primer (i missed this, as I'd forgotten about this site) and this week is a Miller Harris Perfume sample, (which ends in a couple of hours, so hurry!)

The other day i received a lovely little black box in the post, with a WIMH sticker on it, i couldn't for the life of me think what it was! Memory like a sieve!

I opened it up to find the cutest sticker! I love how personal it is.

And it didn't stop there, underneath the tissue paper was this! Little bag and my sample. I've never known a company put so much effort into sending out a sample, it's little touches like the pouch that i really love.

Its a really great website, and if you're nosey like i am also really interesting. You never know you might discover something you love!
This is my unique URL is you'd like to sign up...

I'm not sure if it benefits me in anyway, but it'd be nice if you used my link, just in case it does :)

So there you go, sign up, have a snoop, you might even get some goodies.

Are you already using whatsinmyhandbag? What do you think of it?

Lush; Face Mask Workshop & Mini Haul

So, you might already know this, but Lush have collaborated (is that the right word) with Clipper Green Tea, to offer Free face mask workshops (though technically not free, as you have to buy the tea, but its cheap) I literally hunted every supermarket where i live, looking for the promotional packs, and i eventually found some on Tesco. I've never had green tea, so i opted for a lemon one rather than plain, I don't know if I'm a fan of green tea or lemon green tea. I had to put milk in mine, as i didn't really like it to begin with, is milk a bit weird in green tea? It looked weird! But it tasted better with a little milk. But oh well this blog isn't about green tea, is about lush.
So yeah i went along to the face mask work shop, and thoroughly enjoyed myself, they recommend bringing a friend *which i didn't* but i still very much enjoyed myself.
There was 5 of us in the group. We started off, putting our names on stickers and writing down how we wanted out skin to feel at the end of the session, i chose the word 'nourished' as my skin is always dry.
We then got introduced to the ingredients that go into some of the face masks, like glycerine and almond oil, some weird seaweed (Irish moss maybe?)  We got to smell them and touch them and even taste some of them (glycerine) That bit was really interesting.
We then got to get our hands dirty making our own Catastrophe Cosmetic face mask! this was great fun, adding all the ingredients into big bowl and mushing up blueberries!
Once the mask was finished, we partnered up, to do a cleansing routing inc, face mask. There was a range of products to choose from which was good, as they catered for every skin type. The products that got used on me were;

- Ultra Bland Cleanser £6.45/45g £10.25/100g
- Breath of Fresh Air Toner £3.75/100g £7.00/250g

I couldn't believe how my skin looked when they'd finished, my skin hadn't looked so fresh and glowing since i did beauty therapy at college and i was getting a facial nearly every week! I was Honestly amazed! If i could of afforded to i would have bought every single one of those products!
Another great thing about the evening was, once all the pamper was done, we got to have a little look around and pick up any bits we wanted. It was like personal shopping. I went round and literally sniffed everything in the shop! The new Easter/mothers day bits had come out only the day before so there was lots of new things to look at. There no hard sell, like there sometimes can be, it was really relaxed and enjoyable, everyone felt at ease just having a wonder, even if they didn't buy anything (though i think most people did) The girls that work in the Taunton store are SO nice and friendly, I'm yet to go into a Lush store and have a bad experience.

I picked up a few little bits, we also got a couple of samples and a massive pot of our face mask! By massive i mean like twice the size of the normal face mask pot. (you'll see in the pictures.

So this is my mini haul of all the things i got...
(you may also notice my photos are much better quality than normal, this is because i actually bothered getting my camera out, though i didn't go the whole hog and use my DSLR just my little Fujifilm digi)

All My Goodies

Yummy Face Mask!

I'm a little bit addicted to Lush bath products, especially bath bombs & bubble bars! This is Space Girl, it smells a little bit zesty, but with a teenie hint of parma violets. It also has glitter and popping candy in it! I'm going home for Easter in a few days (where i have a bath tub!) So, once I've used it I'll do a little review and let you know what it was like. £1.95each

My second choice was this, Fluffy Egg from their Easter range. We were told this has the same smell as the Christmas Snow Fairy, So if you're a snow fairy addict, but cant wait till Christmas for your next 'fix' grab one of this. They are literally Neon pink, and smell sickly sweet! Again, I'm home soon, so will do a review once I've used it. £2.95each

My first Sample... Creamy Candy Bubble Bar, this is my actual favourite! You can see my review here. But honestly it smells so good you could eat it! I'm SO pleased with this sample, i didn't even know it was this, they just popped it in the bag when i paid. So it was the best surprise! Its a tiny little cube, but it bubbles so much I'm sure it'll be plenty for one bath. I cannot tell you enough how good this smells, I've been keeping it in the bag in the lush carrier under my desk, and every time i walk into my room its the first thing i smell, I've temped to buy one just to keep my room smelling sweet! Full Size £2.45each.

My last sample, this was a cheeky ask at the till, but they were very happy to let me have them. These are Chou Chou I love You toothy tabs, i thought these were a limited edition for valentines, but they are still available in store and online12g

I highly recommend grabbing some clipper tea, and getting yourself down to Lush for a face mask work shop, they are really great fun, and you might come away with goodies, and lots of knowledge on their products!

whats your favourite Lush product?
