Primark Haul

Sometimes I love Primark, other times i hate it. Primarks one of those shops you can guarantee, if you have no money you will want every single item in there. but when you purposely go there, with something in mind, they either wont have it or you hate everything in there.

Well, I think I'm in love with their summer stock. I don't think I've ever found so much i like/want/need in Primark at one time. Going to Primark, is like a special treat (unless I'm at uni) Because there isn't one Primark in the whole of Cornwall! Although the nearest one is only in Plymouth, its not somewhere i go very often as it takes an hour or so to get there.
Me and the family went on Monday, and i definitely made the most of it, i realised apart from a couple of dresses i have zero summer clothes. Here's what i got... (Very Picture Heavy)

Top; £6.00

Shirt £6.00
Dipped Hem Top; £8.00

Primark Vest Tops are my favourite! Their £2.50 each and they do amazing colour variety! The photo has completely washed them out, the turquoise and purple are so much brighter, i also bought a mint green one. The orange one in the middle is a slightly different style and was only £1.80!

These came separately, the Navy vest underneath was £1.80, The sheer top, i think said £8 or £9 on the price ticket but at the till it scanned at about £3? I love it when that happens!!

These linen shorts are great, they are only £6, and again they do a wide selection of colours and patterns! i got navy blue, so i could wear it with lots of different things.

Again £6 linen shorts, but the most gorgeous floral print! So summery, and a lovely pastel yellow colour.

This ruck sack was £9, as I'll still be on crutches while I'm away i thought this would be good to carry my stuff around in, as it'll be a lot easier than a handbag, and i wont have to rely on anyone else.

I've been dying for a onsie for ages! I finally got one! Its so cosy and snug :) This was £10.

I got some plimsolls as really a should be wearing proper shoes, because of my ankle and I'm a bit fed up of trainers. These were only £3. As we're going camping on our holiday, we have to shower in a block for the whole campsite, so these are my shower flipflops as i do not want to stand on the floor!

The last photo wasn't very clear, suede nave blue sandals with bow detail, i saw these on Victorias Vintage blog, and loved them! Their so cute!

This dress isn't actually from Primark, but i thought I'd include it. I got in TK Maxx for £18 in the sale, its Cynthia Rowely and its bright orange, it fits really nicely and has little pockets in the sides!

And a gold exposed zip detail on the back. My mum treated me to this, as she was buying my younger brother a whole load of stuff.

That's my new summer wardrobe! There was so much more in primark i could of bought. But i have a holiday to save my pennies for!

Have you got your summer wardrobe yet?

Tk Maxx & Boots Haul

After my hair cut me and my mum had a little look around the shops.
Tk Maxx has been on top form lately, especially with their beauty offerings! Packs of Stila make up, Bella pierré and Nails Inc Galore!
Here are a few goodies i picked up...

I literally wanted everything in TK Maxx, but managed to keep to these few things.
A ped egg, my mum has one of these and literally raves about it, but i just didn't want to spend £10 on one from boots, so was chuffed when they had one in TK Maxx for £5.99 and in green, my favourite colour!
And the cute little cake cases, with a vintage paisley design were just £1.99 for 60!!
I also got a set of Colour Club Glitter Polishes, £7.99 for 6 glitters and a clear top coat. I haven't been able to swatch them yet as I've already got my nails painted, but they look gorgeous. I cant wait to try them out!

Was a little pack of Stila make up, for £7.99 it contained 3 items, but one of them I'm using in a surprise swap so didn't photograph. The 2 items I'm keeping though are the Lip Colour in 06 Fiona & The Lip Pot Tinted Lip Balm in Baie.

This lip stick has a bit of a funny smell to it, but i love the colour! The tinted lip balm, is really subtle but still noticeable and again i love the colour Its also quite moisturising. I also really like the packaging its so simple, but really pretty.

Top; Lip Balm Bottom; Lip Stick

The rest of my goodies...

I've been looking everywhere for Models Own polish in Indian Ocean, and i finally found a boots that had them in stock! Models own was buy 2 products and get a free nail art pen so i also got Models Own in Hedonist, which is a bright fluorescent coral colour, perfect toe nail colour for summer! and chose the black nail art pen free (should have been £6.00) I got the new Bourjois nail polish remover as I've seen some many great reviews on it, and it really is speedy! And the lovely headband to go with my new hair, again a orangey corally colour, pretty floral very summery. My last purchase was my first ever Revlon Lip Butter, they've had so much hype around them, i tested them in boots a while back when they first came out and i wasnt amazingly impressed. But i picked up Tutti Frutti and I'm so pleased with the colour, again and orange/coral colour (can you see a pattern?) It hasn't got big chunks of glitter in like some of the colours have, i think that's what i like about it.

Revlon Lip Butter; Tutti Frutti

As I'd had a new hair cut and I've been feeling a little down lately, my mum treated me to a nice new hair dryer.

We had no idea what to look for in a hair dyer, so eventually we decided on this one, i think it was about £30.00 but it came with all the things picture on the box so it seemed like a good deal.

The dryer itself is really lightweight and fairly compact, so it'll be good for travelling. I've never really owned a hair dryer before (like i said in my previous post, i neglect my hair) so I'm a bit excited haha.

So that's all my shopping goodies. I'm very very pleased with everything, and already wanting to go back to TK Maxx to see what new things they have!
I Will Leave you with one last photo....

New Hair, New Lipstick, New Me!

Mini Boots Haul

I always make a mental list of all the things i wish to purchase in Boots, then as soon as i step foot in store i cannot remember a single one, only being 21 this slightly worries be. But i did my usual forgetting what actually need, (which turned out to be shampoo) and bought these lovely goodies instead.

The Sally Hansen Cuticle remover, i saw somewhere that some one had recommended it very highly, my cuticles have been pretty neglected for a while now, and being mostly bed bound i thought it was the perfect opportunity to get them back to looking semi nice. I used this the other night, and i have to say i was SO impressed, i wasn't expecting such great results, but i honestly think this products amazing. You just put it on, leave for 1-2 minutes (though i got distracted by the TV alot, so more like 5mins) and your cuticle pretty much melts away, that or its so supple you can just push it down and nip it off, an absolute treat. so quick and easy. I think this product retails for around £6, but its well worth the money!

Beauty Fixation is a brand I've not used before, i often look at their products while browsing in boots, but was yet to purchase anything. when i went in just the other day many of their products were reduced. i picked up the 'Tinted Lip Conditioner' they also had cuticle condition, and a nail polish remover one. These are handy little cotton buds with the product stored in the middle tube, you snap one end, and the other fills with product, you then just apply. easy peasy. I cant say i was amazed by the lip conditioner, it did make my lips feel nice, but the product itself was very oily, and there wasn't really much tint to it. These were about £3 on clearance, i definitely wouldn't have paid the full price for them, and i don't think I'll be purchasing them again.

At the moment, Models Own nail polishes are 2 for £8 and I'm finding it hard to resist, i managed to restrain myself and only get 2 colours (it was difficult) but in the end i decided on 'Purple Haze' & 'Utopia' I haven't got many neutral polishes, I'm more of a bright colours person. But i want to get into neutral nail colours more and i thought Utopia was a good start, its a kind of pastel/neutral mauve/lilac colour. So, its on trend with the pastels and slowly easing my way into neutrals. I could have easily bought every colour, and I'm currently on the hunt for the elusive 'Indian Ocean' so i may need to put in a boots.com order.
The Mavala polish was also on clearance, and it was the last one, so i just had to snap it up. I'm a sucker for glitter polishes these days. and its a gorgeous holo glitter, that has amazing glitter pay off. Its very very similar to the orly polish i blogged about here, but in my opinion you cant have to much nail polish. I think i paid about £2 for this on clearance, and they are normally about £4.50.

I couldn't decide which picture was best, so you got both! the swatches are all just 2 coats.

Overall I'm very pleased with everything i bought, and would definitely recommend, the cuticle gel and models own polish!

Have you bought anything new lately?
